School of Music Adult Programs

Lifelong musicians or first-timers, every amateur adult musician is welcome here. The Grand String Orchestra performs concerts at least twice each season in Royce Auditorium, with additional outreach concerts throughout the year.

Grand String Orchestra

Violin, viola, cello, and double bass players from near-beginner to intermediate level. 

Emphasizes having fun and learning classical and popular music in an informal and non-competitive atmosphere.

Beer City Winds

Wind, reed, brass, and percussion players at the semi-professional level.

This group is comprised of active professional or professional-quality musicians who are looking to perform at a high-level.
